Our Nuclear and Power business is no different. Simply put, it's a great place to be, and following continued success across the UK's nuclear renaissance, our Mechanical and Electrical Capability is looking to appoint several Senior Mechanical Engineers. With opportunities spread across design, project, and site–based engineering, we're eager to find the right role for you. Whatever your preference, we'll support your aspirations.

Ideally applicants will be:

  • Chartered or Incorporated Members of a recognised professional institution.
  • Motivated to apply their technical expertise to influence outcomes by becoming involved in exciting opportunities across the nuclear industry.
  • Previously experienced or have awareness of the application of engineering practices within safety regulated industries.

Responsibilities:

With specialisms in directing and developing projects across mechanical handling, large scale diesel equipment, mechanical and electrical layouts, and installation, we're a part of a team energised by this industry. If this sounds good to you, then we'd love to hear more.

Why work for AtkinsRéalis?

So, you'll be creating the right safe and resilient systems across nuclear power, renewables, decarbonisation development, new builds and energy efficiency.

We value your diversity and believe that everyone deserves to thrive – no exceptions. You'll be part of a culture committed to finding new talent from underrepresented groups. We're Disability Confident, an Inclusive Employer, and support STEM Returners. We also want to see more women in senior roles at AtkinsRéalis.
