Our client is a specialist Mechanical Services contractor operating nationwide, with a strong focus on office and hotel projects.

They are known for delivering high–quality, innovative solutions and are looking for a talented engineer to join their growing team.

They are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee projects for hotels, restaurants, sports facilities, leisure centres, care homes,offices and educational establishments.
• Manage sub–contractors from tender to handover, ensuring programmes and deadlines are met.
• Conduct site surveys, technical reviews, and defect collation for installed works.
• Represent the company in client meetings and site visits
• Ensure compliance with up–to–date rules, regulations, and technical standards.
• Witness and oversee commissioning processes.
• Perform cost control, procurement, and better buying initiatives.
• Develop estimating capabilities and manage budgets effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Building Services Mechanical Design
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, AutoCAD & Revit (Revit is beneficial but not essential)
• Ability to produce validation reports and detailed mechanical designs
