Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a client of ours on a permanent basis as detailed below:

Responsibilities:

• Produce new and update existing designs for applications using AutoCAD & SolidEdge.
• Create detailed component and assembly drawings
• Create and maintain accurate documentation including BOM's, Proposals, Manuals and Maintenance instructions for designs.
• Interpret customer specifications and design standards
• Carry out DFMEA as required

Background

• Previous experience of designing transmission, gears, powertrain or similar would be advantageous
• Candidates must be eligable for SC clearance
• Marine or Defence industry experience advantageous
