Stoke–on–Trent GBP50,000 – GBP60,000 (dependent on experience) + car/ car allowance + other benefits

I am currently working with a well–established company based in Stoke–on–Trent that specialises in Electrical and Mechanical design solutions. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role Overview:

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, will take charge of the in–house mechanical design function, overseeing the design of ventilation, domestic water, heating, and A/C systems for a range of commercial and residential projects, including apartments, commercial units, and offices. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will also have the opportunity to build and mentor a new design team. This role offers the chance to work on diverse and high–profile projects, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction–focused Mechanical Design who is ready to step into a leadership role.

Key Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Engineering degree or relevant qualifications
• Over 10 years of experience in mechanical design
• Strong background in construction–based mechanical design, not just engineering
• Experience working on commercial and residential projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM modelling
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
