Mechanical Design Engineer

I am working with a well established company that specialise in the supply of flow meters, level sensors, instrumentation, and control systems throughout the UK. With a view to grow and expand, they are now seeking a confident mechanical design engineer to contribute to the team.

The Role

• Work with the wider team to design, develop and test new and existing product lines
• CAD model creation and update revisions of parts
• Work with supplier quotes for parts and services
• Management of costs against bill of materials
• Attend site visits for client if necessary for projects

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 3+ years in a design role
• Knowledge of Autocad and Solidworks
• Experience collaborating with R&D and Product Development projects
• Ideally have experience in an electromechanical environment

• Circa 45k doe
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
