Are you an innovative and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join a dynamic engineering team, working on cutting–edge solutions for a variety of industries.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the full product development cycle, from initial concept through to market launch. You will be working in a fast–paced environment, using your mechanical engineering expertise to design and develop high–quality components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop mechanical components using CAD software.
2. Apply mechanical engineering principles, including solid mechanics, to solve complex design challenges.
3. Work with machining processes such as CNC and sheet metal fabrication.
4. Ensure designs meet BS8888 standards, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
5. Prototype and test designs to verify performance and reliability.
6. Collaborate closely with other engineers to take products from concept to production.
7. Support new product introduction (NPI) processes.
8. Work effectively within a team while also being proactive when working independently.

What We're Looking For

1. Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. 2+ years of experience with CAD design, prototyping, and testing.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
4. Knowledge of electronics is advantageous.
5. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem–solving.
6. An organised, creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
