Salary: Up to GBP44,563 dependent on qualifications and experience

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to work within 30 miles of Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a client–facing individual that is comfortable working in a client–facing environment.

Responsibilities

1. Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
2. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
3. Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation systems.
4. Oversee planned PPM/compliance works and keep the client informed of site activities.
5. Assist contractors and sub–contractors and ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.
6. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
7. Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.

Skills

1. Qualified at a City & Guilds level with experience within a maintenance/facilities management environment.
2. Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.
3. Familiarity with air conditioning systems and their operational requirements.
4. Ability to read and understand schematics for effective troubleshooting.
5. Leadership skills to guide less experienced technicians during installations or repairs.
6. Excellent problem–solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high–quality workmanship.

On offer is a permanent mobile position, working mainly in the local area of Nottinghamshire, with no requirement to join an on–call rota. A van and fuel card are provided.
